Procotyl® Prime

Product Introduction
The Procotyl® Prime Acetabular Cup System is the next step in the evolution of the successful Dynasty® Acetabular Cup System. It is the first system that is designed with simple, versatile instrumentation to support a variety of approaches, including all modern, soft tissue-sparing MicroPort surgical philosophies. Additionally, it is optimized for a highly cross-linked polyethylene bearing surface, eliminating the compromises associated with alternative bearings.

    Dynasty®

    Product Introduction
    The culmination of the INTERSEAL®, TRANSCEND® and LINEAGE® cup designs, the DYNASTY® Acetabular Cup System incorporates color-coordinated trial shells and heads for ease of use. With every advantage of a modular cup design, the DYNASTY® System offers bearing surface screw fixation while also accommodating large diameter heads.

      Lineage®

      Product Introduction
      Manufactured from Titanium for biocompatibility and optimized stiffness, the market introduction of the LINEAGE® Acetabular System delivered unsurpassed surgical flexibility for shell fixation and bearing material choice. The innovative internal shape is designed to allow for use of ceramic and A-CLASS® highly cross-linked liners. This gives the surgeon the option of choosing the bearing material most appropriate for the patient’s demands.

      Liberty by ATF

      Product Introduction
      The dual articulation acetabular system consists of an acetabular shell and a polyethylene liner that freely rotates into the shell and positively captures the prosthetic head. This creates two articulations that share the same center: a small articulation between the metal head and the liner, and a large articulation between the liner and the metal shell. The objective of this dual articulation implant design is maximal implant stability combined with maximized range of motion.

        Procotyl L®

        Product Introduction
        Manufactured from Titanium alloy for high biocompatibility, the Procotyl® L Acetabular Cup System provides surgical flexibility for shell fixation and bearing material choice. The Procotyl® L accepts ceramic and A-CLASS® highly cross-linked poly liners, which are locked by the Rim-Lock fixation system and 18o internal taper. Procotyl® L features screw holes which come pre-plugged, allowing the surgeon to implant a solid shell and open the screw holes only if additional fixation is desired.

          Procotyl C®

          Product Introduction
          With a cemented full poly cup and 180° hemispherical design, the PROCOTYL® C is made of A-CLASS® highly cross-linked polyethylene to reduce wear as compared with traditional UHMWPE materials. Key features include horizontal grooves designed to facilitate cement fixation and anchoring with the acetabulum.

            Liners

            Poly

            Product Introduction
            A-CLASS® Highly Cross-Linked Polyethylene

            This unique material offers a host of advantages both unique and innovative. Tested to a 92% reduction in wear compared to conventional poly, free radicals are undetectable and there is no oxidation. Such performance is demonstrated by highly cross-linked polyethylene, which refers to UHMWPE exposed to radiation in excess of 5 MRAD (A-CLASS® Poly – 7.5 MRAD). This increased cross-linking contributes to greater wear resistance combined with decreased mechanical properties. This balanced process inherent to A-CLASS® polyethylene drastically reduces wear while maintaining mechanical properties.

              Ceramic

              Product Introduction
              BIOLOX® Forte and Delta ball heads and cup inserts can be combined with ceramic components from the BIOLOX® family of products as well as inserts made from conventional and high cross-linked polyethylene. Documented results show these cups deliver the lowest wear rates, outstanding biocompatibility and exceptional stability in vivo, combined with high resistance to third-body wear and diamond-like hardness.

                Uniquely flexible in design, BIOLOX® Forte and BIOLOX® Delta ball heads and cup inserts can be combined with ceramic components from the BIOLOX® family of products, as well as conventional and highly cross-linked polyethylene inserts. Superior results to other materials are documented in the lowest wear rates, biocompatibility, high hardness and resistance to third-body wear

                  BiPolar

                  Product Introduction
                  With design advances applied to the strength of lock detail and bearing surface, the GLADIATOR® Bipolar Hip System is a next generation bipolar implant design. Advances were even made to instrumentation to simplify surgical processes for the surgeon and OR staff. With the A-CLASS® highly cross-linked bearing surface pre-assembled in the shell, the GLADIATOR® implant requires no assembly or disassembly at any point.
